Hey Backers,
The awesome Jerry Ma is letting us use some of his table space to sell issue #1 of Monkey and Peach! Come say hi and check out some awesome stuff by Epic Proportions.
Patrick Chen the director of our Kickstarter video just launched his own project. A Father’s Son is a noir genre film set in NY Chinatown in the 90s. Also Monkey and Peach's very own David "Azroix" Bettencourt is working on the project as well!
A Father’s Son is story-spinoff based on author Henry Chang’s crime novel series featuring NYPD Detective Jack Yu. Set in the early '90s when local street gangs terrorized Manhattan’s Chinatown, our story centers on Detective Jack Yu investigating the murder of a teenage boy involved in a turf war. Amidst the broad distrust and racial divide between the Chinatown community and NYPD, our lone lawman searches for a nondescript immigrant family to deliver a shattering message that also brings forth his own conflicted relationship with Jack’s father.

Onmyoudo Bestiary
The Onmyoudo Bestiary is now available for download. Kickstarter backers can find their download in the digital link section of their surveys. If you lost the link to yours send us a message and we'll gladly resend it.
The Onmyoudo Bestiary showcases 7 different youkai in the world of Monkey and Peach. Through the eyes of the Onmyoudo, the bestiary paints a picture of the strange and powerful youkai that inhabit the land of Wa; from malevolent beasts to powerful deities. We plan to add more and more creatures to the bestiary with each new issue, and maybe even a bound and printed version in the future; until then we hope you enjoy what we've created!
With the premiere of Issue #1, we'll be tabling at several conventions such as the upcoming NY Comic Con and AnimeNYC. If you're coming to these conventions feel free to stop by and shake our hands, get your book signed, or just drop by and say hi! Stay tuned for more news on our tour by following us on twitter and Instagram.
Whew! That's a lot of info to take in. Although the campaign for Monkey and Peach Issue #1 is complete, the journey is not over! We are currently conceptualizing and building on the 2nd issue as we speak, so keep an eye out for our next campaign to get your issue!

We are currently setting up our online shop for the physical and digital copies of the comic. When we have them ready feel free to let your friends and family know they can pick up a copy of their own!~
We are happy to announce that shipping has begun for the Comic and rewards. We want to thank you for your patience and are excited that you'll finally get the comic in hand.
WE'RE SHIPPING OUT!
We have shipped out all the domestic packages and comic out yesterday. We will be shipping out the shirts and international backers out today and tomorrow so look forward to getting them soon. We are just waiting on the physical issue and we will begin shipping soon!

Digital Downloads + Physical Rewards

Hey Backers,
We are excited to announce that the first issue is now available! We have sent out the issue for digital download via backer-kit. (Check the digital reward page of your survey.) If you haven't received your issue please let us know and we'll make sure you can download it. The physical issues are also on their way! The prints should be in within the next week or so. Once they are in we will begin shipping out the physical rewards immediately. Also look forward to the digital bestiary coming out in September. Thank you for your patience, we are so happy to finally get the comic in your hands. We look forward to your support for issue #2!
